So next ... 64 MHz ?!

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS (SEC 64MHz 68000)
Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS
nice !
So next ... 64 MHz ?!
So next ... 64 MHz ?!
Working ones : MegaSTE (68020) / TT030 / Falcon with AB040 & Eclipse / 1040STF
Need testing : Falcon with CT2

Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS
I need to find faster oscillators next
Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS
Ok.
You need to beat us .. we've done 50MHz 68030 on our board.. so you are at 50MHz .. time to go higher

Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS
If only shipping was faster ... I still have three 64MHz 5V ones from my doubleST stuff. Not the square DIL-8 version though, but DIL-14
Actually the seller I bought from still have them, EU, fast shipping: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-64-MHz-Crys ... 4ad908842d

Thanks, I found a 64MHz justtroed wrote: Tue May 29, 2018 10:27 pm If only shipping was faster ... I still have three 64MHz 5V ones from my doubleST stuff. Not the square DIL-8 version though, but DIL-14

Will try 52MHz thenrpineau wrote: Tue May 29, 2018 10:24 pm Ok.

Actually my Falcon RSO modules start from about 50Mhz I think.. So will grab one of those tomorrow then I can go up in 1MHz steps easily

That's crazy. Well done! In terms of integer division, how would a 50mhz 68000 compare to TT's 32mhz 030?
Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS
Brilliant work indeed. It’s like breaking the sound barrier
Re: V2.5 BOOSTER CURRENT PROTOTYPE STATUS
Well 030 has a cache so will be faster for the same clock speed, plus 030 is more efficient core.. you would have to benchmark it with GB6 and see what it outputs with and without caches enabled.. Which would be useful anyway as we don't have a TT benchmark vs stock ST.. or Falcon in fact..Atarian Computing wrote: Wed May 30, 2018 4:27 am That's crazy. Well done!
