tried reflowing the pins for all 4 chips under the psu, now i get a black screen on powerup :)

It depends on how old the ROM is. TOS104 should be closed.. But best to check the ROM in a programmer to see which way round it is.

the solder on the 4 sockets is perfect, i noticed 2 or 3 of the pins on cpu were minimal, but sorted.

still black screen, no idea why

I'm the guy who sold you the RAM board! :)

I can send you my spare working 4MB RAM board to double check if you like?

(They were both run before being replaced with the 14mb, but you never know).

managed to get my white screen back, missing solder on one of the memory controller pins. still got low voltage though on pin 17
