I removed the two usb and network port so it would fit internally whilst doing the installation.

At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

@stephen_usher it's the standard Amiga version ( case is all screwed together now). So not sure which version.
I do have an exxos version as well which I was going to put in a Mega ST but might use it in another Amiga I've got which I plan to sell.
@JezC I can remember my name now. It's everything else that suffers.

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
Video segments of the Lazarustorm build video done.
The "short" video may be very long unless I speed up a lot of the soldering and testing.
Then again, the full length version may be an "unwind" version with 10s of minutes of gentle, quiet soldering with calming commentary as it proceeds. Sort of like "slow TV"... you know, that one with a =n hour of just watching reindeer and Saomi travelling through the snow. :-)
I'll see if I can put the video together tomorrow and publish it.
P.S. I may just do the extended version and name it "The Joy of Soldering Edition" referencing "The Joy of Painting. with Bob Ross". :-)

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

I've completed the video. I decided against the extended edition as that would almost be as long as "The Fellowship of the Ring" extended edition. :-)
Anyway, here it is:

Re: General Stuff(tm)
I just tried the CaffeineOS that @rubber_jonnie posted to me...
It's very pretty but doesn't work very well in PAL High Res mode only in HD modes via the PiStorm's HDMI out.
When I first booted I was confused that I got a grey screen but a synthesised voice asking me to select the correct keyboard and mouse settings.
After fishing out the small HDMI monitor I got a display, but it seemed to be trying to use a 4K display on the poor little 9" 1080p display.
Anyway, got past that. Managed to find how to get to Prefs and switch to PAL High Res so I could use the main display. The GUI doesn't fit well into that resolution and colour depth. :-)
Swapped over to the Pi4... Got it to boot once in about 10 tries, then it fell over.
I wonder if I need to check the A500's reset circuit as even with the Pi3 I usually have to hit Ctrl-Amiga-Amiga after powering up. Even then the machine isn't totally stable. It'll only run Frontier for a while (between 10 and 180 minutes) before crashing.
I wonder if the *373 chips on the PiStorm are just too slow, i.e. not quite the correct versions. That would tally with the CHIP RAM issues with the Pi4 and also the ST-RAM problems when I tried to use it with the Atari firmware.

Re: General Stuff(tm)
@JezC Would you like me to send a Lazarustorm to you? (I tried to PM you but it failed saying that you don't exist!)
By the way, with a Rev.5 A500 you can use a bodge wire to bring the CPU clock to "pin" 7 of the expansion connector, which is otherwise not connected. That should get things working, quickly looking at the schematic. That would be the equivalent of the JP6 link on the Rev.6.

Strange re the PM - I'll try to send you one now.
It will also be interesting for the rev 6 A500 when I fix the boot issue (green screen on boot, so probably a RAM fault)...
