DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Luckily, the shed is starting to look accessible. So I think I can get to the multimeter now. :D

I believe I had the same 'fingers crossed' moment (polarity wise) when getting a Jaguar PSU.

In the meantime, I'm sure I have an RGB out lead (or more likely a repurposed 'other' lead) somewhere that needs digging out now.

@rubber_jonnie: Yep. Well, you've now posted in the correct place as this is actually an Ebay purchase thread! :D

I'm surprised you haven't had a go on that MSX yet.

I have played with it and it's a great machine, but nothing beyond basic as yet, and it's been a bit harder to find an SD cart for than my other stuff.

For example, the TI99/4a and Dragon, I was able to get joystick adapter, SD carts and RAM expansions all from one place in the UK. The MSX cart is coming from Slovakia.

It is the last thing I need a cart for though, but I do need to revisit my card for the Mattel Aquarius as whilst it can read the contents of a USB stick, I can't run anything.

@rubber_jonnie I'll send you a carnivore PCB if you want? I am going to build one but had to order 5 from JLC.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Ooh! Ive just had a box delivered! Whats in the box then?

So, lots of nice stuff for £15; MIDI interface 2 long MIDI leads, various other leads, a graphics tablet and parts, but my main interest is this:

I still cannot believe that I managed to pick up such a rare item. Did it slip under everyones radar, or do people not care for this sort of thing any more?

What is it, you ask? Its a HAM-E framebuffer board for the Amiga.

The only problem, is that info is so scarce, that I have no idea what sort of PSU is needed....lets try to investigate:

Ok, lid has come off and it doesnt look TOO bad inside. If we look at the addon board a bit closer:

It seems that this is the hi-res version (HAM-E+). Yay! It gets better though:

Thats exactly what I needed to know. :D

Now its just a case of finding a 10v PSU and trying it out (I have downloaded drivers/utils already). Wish me luck that its not a DOA part!

More news soon...
