DaveC wrote: 28 Jun 2021 22:27 I know I'd like some sort of booster, would prefer it to be for my STe as I'd like to be able to use DMA sound and MiNT. Though MINT isn't great with only 4Mb to use. Guess I could hope for the STe TF adapter?
Problem is the endless problems these original machines have. I just don't have the time to debug them all. The H5 is the way forward, the TF536 works fine on that.

I know no DMA sound there unfortunately. Just waiting for my H5 board, and hoping I can get away with buying a Flashy Clock and TF536 without the missus murdering me :D

Is this kit sold in the store? I couldn't spot it

Also, do you think you can pre-wire parts that can be prewired? Trying to make it as solder less as possible :(

BTW do you have other STEs to try it out on ?
Back to business after a while...

I tried your booster in another STE board I bought some months ago and it seems to work great.

I did not tried further as I am still making some mods on the board, but I managed to make the booster work with an IDE interface, which seems promising.

I should have some free time from now on to investigate a bit further.

Although you're doing Blitter on vs off at Hi Res, you may want to try it in Med Res as that is what the reference results are based on so you will have a better comparison against 'standard'.

Unless of course you only have access to Hi Res, in which case ignore me :)
