Mine has just arrived, so hoping to fire it up this week/weekend
Once you go HDMI/DVI you will never go back
I expect you are 100% right

Unfortunately it doesn't yet work with sync-scrolling effects. I haven't worked on it yet because my 68000 programming skills aren't up to the task of making a test-case.
I mean a minimally-small program that can generate scanlines shifted by each of the possible amounts. Then I can experiment with code changes and see the result. With a demo, the screen is constantly moving, so you can't keep track of what's going on - and the shifter's so busy that you can't be sure what state it's in at the beginning of each frame and line.
I (or anyone, actually) can also turn that into a Verilog simulation for the publicly-available shifter code.
Somewhere troed did a program to detect current wait states. The desktop would be shifted, though I think it was ws2,ws4 which mostly came up.. After powering off for a few moments and powering back up again.. So maybe that would help ?
Here's the adapter itself, hooked up in place to my NEC Multisync LCD 1970NX via a DVI cable. The DVI board had jumper B set.
Incidentally I swapped to Hi Res using a VGA adapter that was still plugged in, but not connected, and simply flicked the switch!

I can't begin to tell you just how sharp the picture is, the clarity is superb, this adaptor truly brings the STFM video output into the 21st century!!
Once my DVI to HDMI adapter arrives, I'll post some pictures of hookups to my TV.
Great job!
