Re: H5 BUYERS INTERESTS
I mentioned this before but I don't think anyone really replied... In that I was just basically considering not doing the bare boards because looking at the list, there is not really enough people to warrant doing it now.
I can say that preliminarily cost look like they will be £14 for the SMT assembly and parts (This does not include the PCB price which will probably be around £35 or something) .. So it is probably only really going to affect @kodak80 and @PaulJ (I know you said you was fine either way anyway).. There is a couple of others who haven't specified I don't think of logging the forum for a long time anyway.. But we are pushed to get up to 10 boards there I think now.
The problem lies as said somewhere earlier, I can probably ship 6 boards as a small package PCB only, or three assembled boards...I could ship them by courier for example but the cost will go up a fair amount...Or shipping two smaller packages would probably be cheaper anyway..
But in the mix of all this, ordering just say 10 bare PCBs will ramp up the price a fair bit anyway as normally I have to order something like 30 to get the price something sensible per board. A quick look and it looks like the board and actually go up in price by about £8 each.. Which isn't really that far off assembly price anyway, but again that limits how many boards I can ship...
In terms of shipping last time @kodak80 , In my notes I have £25 for your boards, Even if they had to be shipped in two packages, that is another £25... Looks like you wanted for boards so my be able to fit all the anyone box anyway.. So its all making my head hurt, but I really don't think it is worth even bothering with the bare boards as it is not really going to save anything at the end of the day.

I dont think there is much point in a bare version unless someone is into self pain.

Go ahead and switch me to two populated boards. I've got enough other projects to cause myself grief anyway. :D

Re: H5 BUYERS INTERESTS
Updated list. Pretty conclusive really that the bird seed boards will be sold only now.
I am hoping to start taking pre-orders for these boards soon.
