At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.

BTW: That's about 33% speedup (460 seconds vs. 612 seconds), almost the same what the CoreMark benchmark [1] measures for a 32-MHz-accelerated ST: 2.58 iterations/s (accel.) vs. 1.92 iterations/s (stock). This shows that CoreMark results are a realistic representation of actual system speedup.

@Dan1975 Castle Master also sees a good speed boost. Though I don't know if it runs on a STE.

Dan1975 wrote: 20 Jun 2020 12:48 Have just done a quick test with POV Raytracer. Did the pacman file as a tga image but only at 80x50 resolution as didn't want to wait for ages lol.

At 8mhz it took 10 minutes 12 seconds and at 32mhz only 7 minutes 40 seconds so a definite improvement.

Also noticed improvement in Damocles, Epic, No Second Prize, Archer MacLean's Pool and Midwinter 2 on the gaming front
@Dan1975 Could you point me at the POV version you used and the file you rendered please (Upload here if possible), I'd be interested to test in my MSTE which is 16Mhz, but also has cache and FPU, I'd be interested to compare to your timings.

@rubber_jonnie It was from the ST Format issue 49 cover disk and just followed the example instructions from the magazine but just adjusted the size to 80 x 50 instead of 320 x 200 as didn't want to wait too long.

Couldn't view the images properly after though. Tried using Photochrome from the same disk but only produced a distorted image

Ok, thanks, I will see if I can find a disk image.
