No. Hat boards are fine for dev but not for a end product. I have spent 20 year in software dev and the one thing I hate is multiple configurations to test

I have refactored keyboard class a little, now long waits between sending separate keycodes (measured in ms) are handles by timer and low priority timer interrupt, but waits measured between signal and clock changes is (measured in us) is how it was. Changing everything to timer handled irq would be quite complex to maintain and potential long to bugfix. I think this is good compromise.

Was there any progress to the quality of the RGB video output? It looked like the picture was either too bright or too fuzzy/blurry?

Its a little bright.. needs the resistor values tweaked.

After installing right resistor values display is really good. Brightness had to be adjusted on my tv a little and that's it.
If someone was looking for ultimate prefection then resistor values might be adjusted a little, but for me it is perfect as it is.

Yeah... ok... just looks a bit blurry... that's all.

All this effort for wireless keyboard, gamepad, gotek, USB, RTC, etc, but the display is a bit 80%, if you know what I mean?

No, not really. I don't know what you mean.
Video buffer is there for a very good reason, tiny reduction in quality is very small price to pay for why it is there.

PS.
Project is open source, so feel free to modify it and make it better if you wish?

Rubbish. Thats just the TV its being displayed on. The Video buffer is rated for VGA frequencies so there will be no reduction in quality.

EDIT: The riser uses the raw pinouts from the video so that the FMV module gets displayed via VGA. This *exactly* what the CD32 does itself internally for the other video source. So any blurring is nothing to do with the video buffer chip. This chip is used in many games consoles. The buffer is there to stop you accidentally killing your CD32 if the wiring on your RGB cable is bad.
