If you want to be right there at the cutting edge i'd always have 2 of everything. However if you wait a week the guys will have a definitive BOM.Subzero79 wrote: 18 Apr 2020 11:44 I have parys to change rns and passive but cplds to have 2 or 3 spare is expensive .china parts costs 1/10 but its no good quality

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: TF536 Rev 2 Design Complete (all gone)
Mines all assembled and programmed but my USB microscope has fallen apart, so I'm unable to check for dry joints or bridged pins. I have ordered a replacement but its unlikely to be here for a few days.
Build time is very very short thanks to the already installed components and as I've said before, the TF536 was already so much easier to build than the 534, let alone now.
Hopefully someone else's board will arrive in the meantime but if not I'll update you all when the new scope arrives.

Mine booted in DiagROM and then Workbench first time. You got a non booter?PhilC wrote: 18 Apr 2020 16:52 Mines all assembled and programmed but my USB microscope has fallen apart, so I'm unable to check for dry joints or bridged pins. It doesn't boot in my V6 A500 but I do get full brightness LED. I'm going to try it in the H4 later but I think I've probably got a loose or bridged pin on it.terriblefire wrote: 18 Apr 2020 16:57

Its more likely to boot on the ST as it doesn't need the fast ram to work at boot.
Ok, ignore my last. I have a cpu that doesn't like running faster than 33mhz. I've changed to a known good working 50 and its booting to Diagram on the ST and passing the memory test just fine first go :D

Sweet... do you mind producing a mini-bom for the rest of the builders?PhilC wrote: 18 Apr 2020 17:01It doesn't boot in my V6 A500 but I do get full brightness LED. I'm going to try it in the H4 later but I think I've probably got a loose or bridged pin on it.terriblefire wrote: 18 Apr 2020 16:57

A quick question. Is this version capable of 128mb? I dont need anywhere near that amount but may try it on the next one.

Mine isn't arrived yet, have also planned to build beefed 128Mb version, but i guess a new FW is needed to be able to address whole space...

I'm not sure if this version is 128Mb or not. I need to rationalise the SDRAM code between all the boards at some point.8 Bit Dreams wrote: 19 Apr 2020 13:20 Mine isn't arrived yet, have also planned to build beefed 128Mb version, but i guess a new FW is needed to be able to address whole space...

Re: TF536 Rev 2 Design Complete (all gone)
I see from Phil's BoM that he has used a 7.5ns CPLD.
The ones I have are 10ns 288s, as per TF's original BoM. Will these still work with the posted firmware?
