I like that the RAM expansion has an LED. Is it just power or does it flash during memory access? :-)
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

At this point I don't know, I'll confirm when it arrives.

For authenticity, I think you need to go into the shed and knock up some brushed alumunium big 'sidecar' cases for each of the TI-99/4a addons...like back in the day :D

Gotta admit, that kind of thing is in my wheelhouse and would look very cool :)

Ok, so they all arrived today :)

PXL_20220711_114950457~2.jpg

A bit shocked as I wasn't expecting delivery until Wednesday.

This is the TI 32KB expansion fitted:

And this is the TI joystick adapter:

PXL_20220711_121651550.jpg

Both work perfectly :) I haven't yet tested the Dragon 32 joystick adapter, but I'm confident it will work just fine like all the other stuff I've bought from 8bit-Tronics :)

BTW @stephen_usher, The LED comes on when the RAM expansion is in use, but it's just solid and doesn't flicker to show access, though it could be flashing so fast you can't tell :)

The board has an internal jumper and can take power from either the TI or an external PSU. I'm going with TI powered.

Hmm, didn't think I'd find this on a TI99/4a:

Plays nicely too.

I thought I'd drop this one in as I found some VBXE demos for the A8 machines.

This is running on my 600XL with U1MB, POKEYMax and VBXE:

I'm pretty impressed at what VBXE can do having seen both this and the version of Bomb Jack that seems very close to the arcade version.

And according to the tracking, it has 'Left Overseas' so feeling positive :)
