Many thanks & much appreciated!

Were X2 of the -6 variant XC95288XL the final CPLD requirement in the end or did the -10s cut it?

I await the answer with some trepidation!

I've put a 10ns on the bus cpld and a 6ns on the RAMCPLD. The ram CPLD has to cope with 200Mhz in places (clock control).

Thanks Mark. I notice these are 143 MHz, that enough? There is also a 166 mhz version by ISSI.

The RAM is never run at more than the CPU speed so getting expensive parts isnt necessary.

Suffering from a PnD related hangover...

Ok it boots with a hardware patch.. need to sort the reset lines in firmware then we're good.

Try this firmware "as is" .. i dont expect it will work without a hardware patch but you can try.

For some reason the clock multiplier didnt output anything for me on channel 2 (I hadnt noticed it was a current drive differential)
