DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: 68060 sources
I was just trying to find a pdf I downloaded last year describing an airliner avionics system that used a 68060.

Re: 68060 sources
I don't know how well it works on through hole components, but maybe try some low temp solder? Brand name is Chip Quik, but there is no-name stuff as well.viking272 wrote: 02 Feb 2024 14:24 So I had a go with the heat gun, 450c setting, moving it over the underside on the soldered pins.
My test solder went soft and stuck to the pcb.
I pulled at the chip gently from the main side, nothing.
Went back for another minute. Everything on the board seemed super hot but no movement from the 68060.
Should I keep going or is there another method?

I'm fairly sure they are not full 060s

Hey @terriblefire I was just reading through this thread and wanted to ask if you were still looking at doing a 68060 in FPGA? How's that going? With the current prices of legit 68060s and the dodgy scam markets for these things, an FPGA would be perfect.

Re: 68060 sources
I've said this before. I dont think FPGAs are the way forward nowadays. Something like PiStorm or Buffee is the more efficient route to a 060 replacement.cloverskull wrote: 08 Mar 2024 21:17 Hey @terriblefire I was just reading through this thread and wanted to ask if you were still looking at doing a 68060 in FPGA? But TBH I've too many projects happening to look at CPU replacements at the moment.

Re: 68060 sources
Is Buffee actually getting anywhere? The last update I saw was last May.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
