PaulJ_2.0 wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 8:03 pm Have you checked your ram? I use this:

The RAM was checked successfully for over 100 rounds with AmigaTestKit as soon as the card was built. The same process that I follow with all 330 builds. There was no issue there.

C18 has now been replaced with the correct value and I'm running the WHDLoad tests with tf536r1_main_top_FULL_PHASE_7 again. Looks potentially more promising as the artifacts appear to have cleared up, time will tell if the crash issues have gone as well.

Yeah C18 needs to be 1uF+ really its one of the "bigass" smoothing caps for the VCC rail.

Ok before we order a batch of 100 do we think there are any more changes required?

+5V and GND labelled beside the power connector (PWR2) on the silk screen :)

Might be worth hanging fire on the order for another day or two for more build reviews to come in ? I think the good people at JLCPCB are on holiday for Chinese new year - even though their website claims otherwise...

Yes, let's see what the others say first. But I am quite happy with the new firmware I may even buy 10-15 boards to build for others if we have consensus.

I’d planned to wait a few days until more feedback is in.

It’s more my time that’s restricted. From 1st feb I’m back into flight mode Until 7th March.

I think if I'm reading this correctly they won't process any orders for multi layer boards >2 layers until Feb 1st

https://support.jlcpcb.com/article/73-j ... y-schedule

Sounds like they're only handling 2 layer green prototype orders of <= 50pcs during the holidays.

They've probably got the security guard flicking the power switch on the automated production line in the morning then boxing up whatever it spits out in the evening and shipping it to the west over the holiday period :)

Another two :

Silkscreen JP5 label to CDIS
Silkscreen JP3 label to MMUDIS

Also if possible a very slight font size increase on the labels for the 0603 components and the resistor networks - To help out the elderly & visually impaired like myself.. :geek:
