Thanks @czietz for correcting the URL, that was the document I had up when I copied the URL. Guess I should have checked.czietz wrote: 08 Dec 2019 15:43 Hm, the link only leads to a page titled "Atari History and Evolution of Atari Computers- Atari Fans Club" written by whoever snatched atariforge.org. Better try the current page: https://docs.dev-docs.org/htm/search.ph ... A+Integrat

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: DMA ISSUE ON H4
So here is an interesting observation. Firstly I made sure my DB19 shield was grounded so as to close that option off and the ACSI buffer removed and jumpered.
In HDDriver 10.14 at boot there are no devices shown and in the HDDRUTIL.PRG the devices window is empty
However selecting Device Check from the Tools window displays this. However it still doesn't see them in the Device window even when refreshing.

After doing auto configure in the Tools menu it now sees the devices and partitions.

DMA works on the H4 with the ACSI buffer removed and lines jumpered over. Am using UltraSATAN on the DB19, will also try it out on the internal connector.

I was just going to report success with just jumping ic6 but I guess it worked for Icky to. I thought Icky had tried it without success but I'll have to read back in the thread. Anyway I'm also running with just the IC6 elimination. So the only thing I haven't tried is the glitter. When I check that off everything is working. Only item that needs some attention is the color video which is washed out. Great board @exxos , @Icky .

Re: DMA ISSUE ON H4
I think my initial test, with IC6 jumpered, of the ACSI nothing showed up in the booting HDDRIVER and in the HDDRUTIL. I shouldn't of assumed it was broken and actually tried to detect and format a new SD. Note to self, when testing ACSI or IDE for that matter start from scratch, format and partition an SD right from the start.PaulJ wrote: 08 Dec 2019 20:32 I was just going to report success with just jumping ic6 but I guess it worked for Icky to. Re: DMA ISSUE ON H4
Ya, I wasn't expecting it to work either, I had been look at a stock st's DMA signals. Switch back to the H4, made the jumper, connected the US and it just booted.... Have to say I was not expecting that.. but I'll take it. Ordered SMT glue and mmu for next board. We will have to see how that build goes. Are you going to take a look at the washed out video?Icky wrote: 08 Dec 2019 20:52I think my initial test, with IC6 jumpered, of the ACSI nothing showed up in the booting HDDRIVER and in the HDDRUTIL.
