DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

You've choosed wrong slot,
this one should be occupied by this card:

Re: Noob building a TF534
I rendered these on my 50 MHz 534 in the closed up A500. Found the scripts through another thread here. The fish took a little over 3 hours while the teapot was much quicker even though the resolution was higher. I guess this means my 50 MHz 534 is stable inside the A500. :) I haven't used POVray since the early 90's in MS DOS. It's actually what got me started with 3D modelling and today I design and sell 3D models online.

But are the middle layers needed for circuitry or just for ground/Vcc planes?8 Bit Dreams wrote: 15 Dec 2020 22:08 You've choosed wrong slot,

Yes, that's normal, rendering without FPU (cpu only) takes about 2.5 hours,
while same set of pictures is done in 30 minutes if FPU is in use. This is very noticeable if You are using such programs like iBrowse for example, however You'll need more than 4MB of ram then...

It'll be a pain in the a** to solder such board without solder mask anyway, and it'll be a nightmare to debug it if something goes wrong..Lynxman wrote: 17 Dec 2020 23:19 But are the middle layers needed for circuitry or just for ground/Vcc planes?

Re: Noob building a TF534
I'm very patient. ;)
It's possible to apply UV solder mask and then route off the pads with a spring V-bit. I actually made a spring V-bit today for that with my lathe. It ensures that only light pressure is applied to the PCB when milling to only remove the relatively soft solder mask. I don't want to mess with solder mask for most things though.

My Amiga 2000 with the 33 MHz TF534 took 3 hours 8 minutes to render the same fish picture. Why would it take the same time at 33 MHz as it did with the 50 MHz A500?

Re: Noob building a TF534
Because floating point calculations is something that FPU, not cpu is supposed to do, there is no huge difference between 33 and 50MHz for cpus in rendering, it sucks in both cases, and it gets really hot when it runs @50MHz, in fact povray - is the best tool to check cpu for failure, most reprinted cpus will fail after 15-20 minutes of testing.

Re: Noob building a TF534
Ok. I will add a FPU to one of them soon just for kicks. I bought one from the Exxos store along with a couple of TF536 PCB's.
