I thought those mugs were for hot chocolate only?

My third board is half built towards being ready for the FPGA wtc.

Other forms of liquid are suitable for the mugs :)

Just figuring out how best to make sure the HDI board and Amiga board fits.

Tracks cut under the DAC https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =10#p34227 but am contemplating that the DAC, RGB / Mono, Mono Gen and Composite Gen are not needed if the HDMI board works. Thus I can leave out a lot of components with most of them being SMT :)

SIMM socket will require a bit of a mod to be able to test with the Three Amigos + MAD 10 board - https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 237#p36237

Yeah some idiot wired it to GND assuming some idiot would try and fit a 16MB simm into it :)

So bending the pin is not really an option as it still sits on the solder pad. Snipping the pin off will leave the square support metal which is cleaner. Don't snip the square support metal in two as the integrity of the SIMM socket pins will be comprimised. Will just need to place a small piece of insulation over the board hole. The MAD10 line can just be soldered to the square metal.

Well this has been fun today. The decision to cut out the video circuitry because of the HDMI FPGA Shifter board has saved a lot of time.

I have also gone a bit rouge on this build too. I am using SMT resistors and caps where possible (see R21 & R58 next to the 1772)

I still need to do my DMA bodge boards  It makes me wonder if in years to come people are going to be asking what that little board is for, just like people keep on asking what the blitter bodge board is in the MEGA's etc
