DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

STFM Keyboard Remake
Re: STFM Keyboard Remake
Not bad for a quick print. Just the keycap socket is too small need to modify. Once done I'll stick it on Thingiverse in the Atari ST Parts group https://www.thingiverse.com/groups/atar ... rts/things
Re: STFM Keyboard Remake
I think I have all the correct size keycaps and locations. Next to sort out the circuit properly then we can add a few enhancements. I have some planned already
Re: STFM Keyboard Remake
Looking nice!

Re: STFM Keyboard Remake
Update on this project. It's not forgotten, just progressing slowly because of all the other projects.
Have been playing around with some of the enhancements and have been looking at an option to install RGB leds as part of each switch and using WS2811 chips to drive them all, allowing various options for backlighting. Even pink for Exxos
I have sourced some leds that with a very slight modification to the cherry switch housing will fit nicely.
Below is the number pad part of the keyboard with the WS2811 footprints.

looking good!

Just a small interjection from me for new keyboard and new case projects:
If the joystick ports on the underside of the keyboard PCB would be turned to face the right side of the case and be accessible from the outside, that would be way nicer than having to fiddle below the machine to change plugs.
Or do extension cords headers so to have the classic under-case possibility, and additionally some joystick ports on the floppy side of the machine, or on the back. As long as there are headers on the keyboard PCB, one can decide wherever you want to have the joystick ports in a new case.

The IKBD has been implemented in HDL and a small FPGA or a big CPLD could be used to get 100% compatibility without the need to source HD6301's. See https://github.com/harbaum/ikbd.
Re: STFM Keyboard Remake
There have been thoughts around this. Exxos and I were discussing that the STE case has the extra joystick ports on the side so that could be an option. Our eventual goal with the case is to provide a few snap in panels in places so that people can for example use those ports or have them blocked off or have different back panels to eventually allow add-ons like Smonsons HDMI / DVI adaptor to exit the case nicely without the botching of cases that has happened in the past.Gunstick wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:52 am Just a small interjection from me for new keyboard and new case projects:

My goal is to get this thing working first and then we can add in more features such as USB connectors to allow USB mice to be used for example.
