Okay, thanks for confirming. So there is definitely some kind of issue with a rev6 board. I will warn anybody who wants one not to buy it if they have this mobo, and those who have bought one and can't use it due to this are welcome to send me back the board for a full refund (including @edolnx and @ericgla).matt020 wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2020 2:51 pm My current configuration : Amiga 2000, Rev 6.2 motherboard. 2MB megachip-clone chipmem expansion. TF534 in Kipper2K CPU slot adaptor. A2091. Nil problems
Changed out TF534 for TF536 into Kipper2K CPU slot adaptor. Flashy screen, then black screen and nothing further.
Installed TF536 into CPU socket directly. Flashy screen, then green screen. Whilst on green screen, power light cycled high/low/high/low for 15-20 secs, then machine reset and cycle begins again.
Removed 2MB chipmem upgrade and installed 1MB Agnus. This gave flashy screen, then black screen and nothing further. I did note that after 3-4 seconds, the power light dimmed. After 15-20 seconds, the machine reset and went through this cycle again.
I didn't remove the A2091, I figured what I am experiencing is consistent with other reports.
I then installed the TF536 into my A500 which has 1mb chipmem. Boots perfect, and currently doing a memory test using "Analyser" software.

DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Did rev1 work ok on these boards? Can you try and flash that firmware onto a rev2 and see if there is any change? I am assuming you have these at home...

Yes, indeed, rev.1 TF536 works flawlessly on rev.4 & rev.6 A2K boards, was able to test with all Zorro ll Cards i have, RTG card included
Unfortunately, as Stephen already said, different revision firmwares are not interchangeable (some pins one cpld was rerouted/swapped)...

The IDE won't work but you can boot from floppy... You should try it so we can narrow this down. I still have the two original rev1s which I suppose I can send to @ericgla and @edolnx as replacement... if they want.8 Bit Dreams wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:53 pm Yes, indeed, rev.1 TF536 works flawlessly on rev.4 & rev.6 A2K boards, was able to test with all Zorro ll Cards i have, RTG card included

Crap, even on a rev4? The issue seems more random than anticipated...8 Bit Dreams wrote: Wed Jul 15, 2020 7:00 pm Nope, can't boot from floppy on my rev.4 A2k..

Re: TF536 on A2000
Sorry I created my own thread for my own tests - details on over there. In summary I found my 2 x rev 6 boards and 1 rev 4 boards behave the same way. They often will not show the coloured bands from that initial boot ROM, and none boot. I found if I take out the CF card it will show the coloured bands 100% of the time though (and still not boot after showing either a black screen with 3.1, or a white screen with 1.3). Something early in the boot it seems.

Re: TF536 on A2000
I should have stated that all tests on my Rev6.2 A2000 were without the CF card connected. Flashy screen and then either green screen (with 2mb chipmem) or black screen (if 1mb Agnus installed).
