I also purchased at TF536 from AlenPPC and have been having trouble with my A2000 Rev 6. I'm in the process of debugging it. In the CPU socket I get the rainbow of colors at power on but nothing else. I also have a Kipper2k based CoPro card and tried there. Same effect (no CPU in the mobo socket of course). I check with AlenPPC and the CPLD firmware is the original release, so I'm working on wiring up a Raspberry Pi so I can flash the board with a newer firmware to see if that helps. I'll post again with my findings in a day or two.

I recently received my TF536 from AlenPPC and am having the same issues as edolnx described in my A2000 rev 6. Luckily I have a copy of DiagROM 1.2 and can give some additional information that might be helpful.

I've replaced the CPU socket in my machine, and works normally with the 68000 installed. No Zorro II boards or IDE were installed while testing the TF536.

The machine does start with DiagROM, but stops with a purple screen and defaults to serial mode. Per the DiagROM docs, the test colors at boot are:

Green/Black Detecting Chipmem
Green/Red Detected Chipmemerrors
Green/Dark Green No Memory detected
Red/White CPU Bus Error
Red/Purple Address Error
Red/Cyan Illegal Instruction
Red/Yellow Division By Zero
Red/Blue Chk Instruction
Black/White TrapV Instruction
Black/Purple Privilege violation <-- Does not proceed past here

SystemInfo: Stuck buttons & keys etc at boot: P1LMB P2LMB

JoyStick port tests: CIAAPRA ($BFE001): $0000 BIN: 0000000000000000 (this value is changing when I boot with my 68000)

Keyboard tests: Basically dead. Maybe 1 out of 50 key presses register.

Graphics Tests, Testpicture in lowres 32Col (Option 1) works, but Testscreen 320x200 (Option 2) fails with this pattern:

After looking at the schematics, it seems that the TF536 causes the odd CIA (U300) to misbehave. Both the keyboard and fire buttons are handled by U300, and the lack of activity on CIAAPRA seems to confirm this.

If anyone needs any additional info I'll be happy to run more tests.

Send your TF536 back. There is no way i can reproduce this. My A2000 works perfectly with the TF536. The TF536 was developed on the A2000.

I have sold to a couple of A2000 owners with no reported problems.
Both required the IDE buffers, although I cant see not having them being an issue.

Hmm why would the 2000 require IDE buffers? The TF534 didn't, and it ran beautifully!?

I should have said 'Requested', my bad. The buyers both asked for them.

I am happy to replace your boards, but the problem is I only have an A500 and it works on those... So I can't really verify anything A2000 related at home. EDIT: I know that some people confirmed my board works on rev4.x A2000, is this uniquely related to rev6?

Got a TF536 for my A2000. Great value for money and great with 64 MB RAM.

I really miss a FPU. The top most powerful programs for the Amiga requires this, like TVPaint, Real 3D etc.

TF536 works without any issues with my VA2000 rtg card (occupies 4 mb zorro ii address space) and CX2000 flicker fixer. Works also perfectly with my A2286AT Bridgeboard that occupies 2 mb of the ZorroII address range.

Problems: CF card in IDE port is only recognized as CF0 or something like that in Kick 3.1 early boot menu, and want auto mount or consequencly auto boot. If I type in 'version scsi.device', the partitions seems to be activated and mounted and I can access them, partitions also shows up in HDToolbox.

Luckily I've got a GVP SCSI controller I setup with a SCSI-SD card, this works, but transfer is a bit slower when used with the TF536 it seems, like 800 kb/sec in raw read. Before, it was around 1-1.2 mb sec I think.

IMHO if you want to use these programs a TF card is the wrong option. Get Vampire or Apollo. The external FPU on the 030 is rubbish anyway.

Have you tried your card in WinUAE and got the same result? This is likely a software issue.

What is the version of your motherboard?
