At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.

Ok. works both in EmuTOS and TOS2.06 here.

I'm using PP's IDE image.

Won't recognize flash card correctly in emutos and 2.06 and mis reports the size in hddriver, cant' format or partition. The last version that correctly reported was the firmware dated 1_6_2020. Tested on MegaST 4 and 1040STFM(CO70789-001 REV C).

Just out of curiosity, what compact flash brand and size are you using? I have tried Transend 133x 4,8,16 and 32 gig.

Do you have a link to this? I am as confused as ever as to which kind of partition needs to have the IDE byte swapped and which doesn’t.

I do understand that the TF looks like *IT IS* already swapped to the ST, so swapping it here would be like unswapping on a typical ST IDE.

Thanks :)

Latest firmware tried and to be honest, this has me banging my head against a brick wall somewhat.

EmuTOS boots but freezes with my 16gb card with the PP image I pointed you to @terriblefire .

Swap in a different CF card which never worked on the TF536 before (ST would not read rom etc) and it boots to desktop but

... OK, hold on...

As typing this reply I've noticed that with this firmware if i boot into Tos2.06 with it then it trashes the CF card, so now its also garbled in EmuTOS.

In other news one of my devoder boards has also died really annoying.

On that page there is this information:
For users with IDE drive or CF cards there is special image file with IDE autoboot driver. You need to replace begin of large image files with it. You can do it with some decent hex editor as HxD

Does this have to be applied to the image when used with the Terriblefire IDE? The more I read of pputnik's site it alludes that he is talking about installing the driver for HIS IDE interface. I'm not sure how similar it is to this one.

Unfortunately for me, I don't get a boot under either circumstance. When booting with a floppy the IDE never appears on the desktop. There's something that is eluding me here.

Thanks!

Is that something you can share to rule out image issues? I've tried the latest firmware on two H4s, a Mega ST and an STFM and aren't having the success you've had at all.

@EzdineG if you're using EmuTos then no IDE driver is required but it does sound like PP was suggesting his IDE driver.

I've tested the TF536 successfully until the last few firmware updates using EmuTos and this image https://lotharek.pl/files/usatan/satan.zip

Its the one I use on my Ultra Satan as well.
