DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

kludge wrote: 02 Jul 2019 13:00 That’s very interesting. Just came here to post images of my adapters (before seeing the video), and mine are exactly the same. The one with the transistors does work in my A600, but not connected to the 534.
...
I have the V.H2 version of the adaptor and in sysinfo, on my first 100MB partition I get a really slow 700kb/sec. On the second ~3.4GB partition it's glitchy and returns immediately with values between 1.5MB/sec and >10MB/sec (impossible). Tried a few different CF cards too. Though drive access seems fine (but a bit slow to boot).

Going to try with a IDE2SD adaptor when I get a chance. Anyone else have this issue?

EDIT: this is _with_ mufastrom/mmulib

So with the IDE2SD adaptor (specifically this) and a 4GB SD card, I get a consistent 2.1MB/sec with both partitions without fastrom. With fastrom, ~5MB/sec (and no dodgy overflows in sysinfo).

So something funky with either the V.H2 adaptor or my all of my CF cards.

Interesting, and thanks for sharing your findings.

I have two configurations, one with ide2sd and the other with the CF adapter you’re referring to. I didn’t realize it but I can confirm they behave just as you’ve discovered.

Ok,
Tried with SD to IDE adapter - muFASTROM works now, however it shows lower speed for first partition..

If you dont like what I am building please dont buy it. I dont care if you dont like it or are disappointed with it.
