DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Got my first new batch of PSU's just. Time for testing :) 5 amps on the 5V and 2 amps on the 12V. You can pretty much run 3 ST's at once at those levels! (But don't do that! The transformer isn't rated to sustain those wattages) 5V and 12V can be adjusted about 0.5v either way. So you can set them to whatever your machine "likes".

How things used to be... Image was taken in 2003 according to the image date. But likely that board was created a lot earlier. Probably late 90s.
This must have been a later revision

Re: exxos blog - random goings on
This week I'm going to be tidying up my workshop which has been long overdue for the past several years!!
I simply cannot even get my desoldering station never mind anything else like actually find stuff!
Bits and bobs will be appearing in the store as I find them or in the general forum for sale section.
What I'm going to do is take down to these shelves and tidy things up and I have ordered a rack with adjustable shelving.. In fact actually had to order 3 racks because you couldn't actually buy additional shelves
The rack will be marginally smaller than the shelves but I want to put my test machine motherboards on a rack because they are just getting destroyed piled up as they are now :(
I shall be able to fit 2 motherboards side-by-side on the new rack. There will be several shelves overall, so not much height between them to keep everything separate .
I still have a box full of 3-D printer parts motors and power supplies and god knows what else. Some things like linear rails were actually expensive but I just don't have space to keep all this stuff :( likely none of it would be compatible with my QIDI printer anyway. So not worth its even keeping all the stuff anymore. Pains me to chuck good stuff.. but what else can I do really when nobody wants the stuff anyway. I mean some of these motors would cost more than printers these days
I'm trying to dig out the original Atari STF/M/E Epson 380's mostly. Clean the heads and get them tested and put in the store. I must have like 20+ of the things by now  Also have a few external drives *somewhere*.

Re: exxos blog - random goings on
:sigh:
Back in 2011 when I spent a sh*t ton of time money doing research for a efficient as possible step up inverter. Spent ages experimenting with various switch mode controllers, various diodes for best efficiency. Various thicknesses of wire and inductor core materials (wound my own). Best ESR caps etc etc. Only to realise later, nobody cares. Like most things, people just flock to buy junk from China etc. So ended up with a stack of these inverters which are sadly heading for the bin now :(
