With the shape of the pins curved under the chip, laying the DRAM on a PCB wouldn’t be sufficient instead of using a socket for testing ? Applying a little pressure on top maybe…exxos wrote: 19 Nov 2021 16:30 I did try and find a socket to test these chips but I don't think I ever found one.

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

It's a good thought, but I don't think the legs are ever going to be perfectly straight enough for that to work reliably.olivier.jan wrote: 19 Nov 2021 19:36 With the shape of the pins curved under the chip, laying the DRAM on a PCB wouldn’t be sufficient instead of using a socket for testing ? Re: exxos blog - random goings on
Thought I would do another video. "A typical Monday with exxos". Basically because I just know for a fact that every Monday in particular things are not going to go well
Aim of today - Finish desoldering the STM DRAM chips.
What actually occurred - lots of stuff breaking and there was even a terrible fire :fire: :fire: :fire: :hide:

 Yeah," one of those weeks" is currently at month seven I think. There's always something going on in the background. Like this week, one of the neighbours came round saying we have got expanding damp patch on side of our house.. Been looking into that this week.. One thing after another all the time..Badwolf wrote: 26 Nov 2021 14:01 Great! I've been watching you systematically destroy tools in the background to me systematically breaking my projects :D
