DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: 520ST PSU Remake
Sorry for the drip feed of updates, finding a window to do the 3d printing at a time when it doesn't disturb the family is a bit of a trick!
Here's the bottom half of the case, pre cleanup. Quality is OK at .3mm.
Hopefully the top will be done Wednesday.

Re: 520ST PSU Remake
Considering that's 0.3 it does look pretty good. What infil did you use?
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Re: 520ST PSU Remake
Infill was 20%. There are some support structures for the vents that need to be cleaned out, and a little bit of filing to do, but otherwise pretty good.
Considering my printer cost just under £100, I have to say I am pretty happy with the results. It goes to show that spending the time to set it up does pay dividends, about the only thing I had to change recently was the filament and bed temps when I got a new reel of filament.
I use Cura for slicing, and print via Repetier server installed on a laptop upstairs in my workshop. Repetier is great as it allows you to upload jobs directly via the web interface once you've sliced, rather than having to run around with an SD card. I also always use brim when I print stuff out, because it gives the print head time to extrude cleanly and adhere to the bed before the job starts properly.
I always follow a routine and home the bed before I do anything, and all my jobs start off with autolevel code too.
Will post more once the top half is printed.

Re: 520ST PSU Remake
Interesting. For me the bottom section was estimated at 5h 43 with 20% infill at .3mm. Top was 6 hours exactly. I can't remember travel times and print speeds off the top of my head.exxos wrote: Thu Apr 18, 2019 2:17 pm I loaded the bottom section..

@ .2mm both were 7 hours +.
I should be able to add a pic of the top sometime tonight.
