@exxos Much the same as I have, and both work in my A1200, but not with my cable, I think if I put a scope or meter on the power pins there will be something different with power where it works and where it doesn't.exxos wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 11:52 pm I use a SD to CF in my falcon without issues. its like one of these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3235226 ... 4c4dOZswUB there are some bugged controller chips on some of those adapter boards though...

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

His is 40 pin to 40 pin by the looks of things, with separate power. I have a similar CF adapter that works just fine, but it's the 44 pin deelys I want to fix, they're much more compact and neat.exxos wrote: Thu Feb 27, 2020 12:01 amhttps://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 151#p30151rubber_jonnie wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 11:57 pm @exxos Much the same as I have, and both work in my A1200, but not with my cable, I think if I put a scope or meter on the power pins there will be something different with power where it works and where it doesn't.

They are cheap devices, just seems weird they work in one scenario and not the other.

Several of us purchased hddriver when we were testing @exxos 's IDE board. So there's a paid update hddriver 11.0 that I just picked up. We'll see if I can notice any changes.

On STs with Blitter (MegaST or upgraded STF) IDE is about 20% faster with HDDRIVER 11.rubber_jonnie wrote: Fri Feb 28, 2020 4:58 pm @PaulJ €10 I see, have you noticed anyything interesting with V11?
