For mono I would probably need an upscaler if I can't find a better controller. Color would be nice but I want to get mono bang-on. If I get colour as well, so be it. I'm kinda out of space.Steve wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 11:28 amSo you wired the controller board directly into the Stacey? Where as derkom is using an ossc. There are much smaller and cheaper scalers around these days with zero lag, perhaps the retrotink is a good option, www.retrotink.com as it is a no hassle automatic upscale to 480p.Atarian Computing wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 5:56 pm I did a screen upgrade Atari STacy Screen Upgrade - Part 1

And that's going to look amazing. One of the sacrifices I had to make with the screen I selected is a bad multiple of pixels. It looks good, but once you figure out how to get pixel perfection on your display, it's going to be fantastic. Nobody does pixel perfect displays on notebook computers anymore, and I think people have forgotten how crisp that looks.
