Re: Latest TF534 is here
Hi TF,
A quick question RE the ram on the TF534. The ram on the BOM is AS6C800855ZIN 1mb x 8. I'm trying to ecconomise whilst building the boards and have quite a few Sims of various sizes. Do you knowif it is possible to put a larger capacity chips on the board, such as 16mb x 8 etc. Obviously they have to be the same pinout etc.

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

That’s not going to work, Simms are DRAM, this is SRAM
Re: Latest TF534 is here
Ok, that's fair enough. Just a thought.

Trying to economize on your first build will result in a very expensive meal for your trash can.

Does anybody have a complete tf534 Digikey/Mouser/etc. list with part numbers?
Re: Latest TF534 is here
I think I do. Ordered it a couple of days ago, but with 10kOhm resistors instead og 2k2. Will change and PM you it later.Maximilian wrote: Mon Mar 11, 2019 12:22 am Does anybody have a complete tf534 Digikey/Mouser/etc. list with part numbers?
Re: Latest TF534 is here
Here is my TF534 BOM from Digikey. Since I'm totally fresh to this, and not been able to watch all of TerribleFire's YouTube videos, I'm not 100% sure which oscillator to pick. Therefore there are 3 to choose from in this BOM. Pick the one you need.
If you do see anything that could have been chosen differently, please tell. There more we share the better.

Re: Latest TF534 is here
I think CB3LV-3C-33M0000 is the only oscillator that will work from your list. The card will never run at 100 mhz, so forget that.
My suggestion for oscillators that I use are CTX314LVCT-ND and 887-1181-1-ND.
You can use a 33 Mhz cpu and run it very nicely at 36 without issues or heatsinks (and it will run faster than the 50 mhz on the 330).

Thanks Theq for the part numbers!
I'm not sure how you are going to mount the board, 732-2671-ND (edit)looks like(/edit) a standard pin strip that will probably damage your MC68000 socket, 110-44-964-41-001000 has machined legs but are to short.. does anyone have some insight in this?
The BOM on the GIT now has a SPI flash part added but that is a 16Mbit part and you have to make sure you get the correct version with the correct spacing.
