I only have 2 64K banks left, and 2 versions of YAART will use up both of those.

DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

16BIT ROM CART THOUGHTS

A better image render of the PCB..
Re: 16BIT ROM CART THOUGHTS
Or are you meaning the actual PRG file as thats about 8K ?exxos wrote: Thu Jan 24, 2019 4:45 pmI only have 2 64K banks left, and 2 versions of YAART will use up both of those.
Would be cool on a RAM disk with both programs. Though I am not sure about it needing to get to the desktop over simply booting right up from cartridge.. Though I guess it does beg the question that other smaller programs could be loaded into the RAM disk as well I guess ?
Re: 16BIT ROM CART THOUGHTS
Never thought about putting YAART on a cart, excuse the rhyme.
That's a good idea.
Are you releasing that cart sometime exxos? I made my own as you know but too little time to design something similar to yours and may just invest in one if you do make them.

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: 16BIT ROM CART THOUGHTS
I'm going to order some new boards soon, so if anyone wants one there be a few spares. I may build a small batch for my store, but with so much going on it could be some time before I get around to it.Forgottenmyname wrote: Thu Jan 24, 2019 5:05 pm Are you releasing that cart sometime exxos? Re: 16BIT ROM CART THOUGHTS
That sounds good. How about offering the roms on your store too? for those too lazy to work it all out

Yeah, I will put together a few kits. Though I'm not soldering themForgottenmyname wrote: Thu Jan 24, 2019 5:50 pm That sounds good. How about offering the roms on your store too? for those too lazy to work it all out![]()
Re: 16BIT ROM CART THOUGHTS
Spoil sport.
Actually, that's not too hard a kit to solder anyway.

Re: 16BIT ROM CART THOUGHTS
True, but it took me like 3 months just to get around to programming the ROM. Just so much to do that even simple things take months for me to get done. I only went back to this project as I am laid up with man-flu, and thought its something not too taxing to do..Forgottenmyname wrote: Thu Jan 24, 2019 5:55 pm Actually, that's not too hard a kit to solder anyway.

Ah, I didn't know you were using 64KB banks. But why use separate banks for the ram tests? Here's a 64KB cart image with both tests.
I have perfected several methods to be able to pretty much put anything on a cart. Only the size is a limit after packing. There's room on this image for more as well.
