Just an ASYNC issue with the "CIA"'s to figure out (note the quotes - please dont tell me that the CD32 doesnt have them... its way more complex than that).

Is Your CD32 PAL version?
That remind me on one person who was thinkering how to fix CIA timings not realising he has an NTSC unit... :lol: :D

By the way, how did You burnt DiagROM for CD32? Did You took 1200 version, and written Hi/Lo on 27c800?

The CIA timings are perfect with the card removed. I'm pretty sure its just how i'm crossing the clock domain. Its v tricky to do this when the clocks are so close (14 Mhz vs 25Mhz)

Yes. But there isnt an A1200 version. Its all one version just broken out for different data bus widths.

Viktor
Just to add if you are burning Diagrom a 27c800 using the TL866 and the 42pin adapter like I have, then after flashing you will have to bend pin 31 up so its not connected for it to work on the CD32 .
don`t ask me why as I was mucking around for ages till I just had a lucky break and tried not connecting Pin 31 :)

and yes you are correct use the two files chucky has made Hi and Lo as per his web site instructions

@Alen:
Will try to burn one, if it works - You'll get a spare from me, just send me PM with Your address

@Stephen:
is it more complicated than building a TF534 firmware? I assume You need to know Akiko pinout to be able to hook up Your LA..
im pretty sure You will be able to solve this timing issue soon..

Timing issue solved. On to other things.

I didnt really need to know the pinout of Akiko. All the pins i need are available on my breakout board or the TP headers on the CD32.
