DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: Sandord - progress
Thanks. I looked around a little more and I'm kind of intrigued by this thing: https://www.aoyue.eu/aoyue-int968-smd-r ... ction.html
I guess I could keep looking for ages but rather ask myself: do I need those features? Just keep it simple I guess. But tempting...

Wattage is a bit low for soldering... That's a smt rework station..
Re: Sandord - progress
I'm sure I will find replacement chips in the mail even before I know I've fried them during desoldering from my donor STForgottenmyname wrote: Sat Oct 27, 2018 7:50 pm Psychic ordering perhaps.

Re: Sandord - progress
So, I FINALLY managed to remove all parts from my donor ST. At least, the ones I need for the remake
But djeez was it hard. Especially the last 68B50, I think it took my literally 2 hours to get it off. And I broke two legs (the slim end) in the process
Yes, I used a very good solder sucker, flux, wick. For some chips I had to repeat like 20 times before finally being able to get it off. Maybe this ST was assembled with magic glue or something
Anyway, I've got the parts now. But hopefully I didn't fry any of them, since I had so much work getting them off of the pcb.
By the way, those broken pins, I'll just stick a lead in the socket and then solder it to the remains of the pin on the chip.

Solder the acia to the board ..
Re: Sandord - progress
I might have fried it during desoldering. I have no proof but I'm just not sure it still works.
Well, I'm not looking forward to desoldering anything for a while so I'd rather have it sit in a socket
