Yes there is a colour test. I also reverted to original configuration to compare.

How odd.. half looks like its not bright enough.. but doesn't explain odd colours getting mixed in...
maybe I have screwed up one of the RGB lines on the chip or something :shrug:

Also using DiagCart in original mode the background is blue with white text.
Using the Video DAC board the background is black with slightly yellow text.
