At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.

exxos wrote: 23 Sep 2018 11:02 I found my post on the ACIA https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =150#p6255

Looks like E has to be low to disable the ACIA. So if you lift those 2 pins and connect to 0V, then it should rule out ACIA bus conflicts...
OK so both pins connected to 0V on both ACIAs - No change still the same error message.

Well, we can probably rule out ACIA conflicts, so its not all bad... Has anyone tried control-alt-delete to see if you can reset that way ?

If you can hook up serial, then might be worth seeing if that works with the diagnostic cart.. worth a try I guess... No saying it will be much use, but at least it will test the rs232..

CTRL + ALT + DEL = Nada - no reset.

Found out in the process my donor STFM keyboard is duff - another job to do on the uneven ending list. Am using another to test.

Still trying to find my RS232 to USB cable its gone missing in that tangled mess of cables somewhere in the universe. Once found I'll have a go.

CTRL ALt Del doesn't work for me.

Lifted the two E pins and connected them to earth and no difference, still get E7 error.

(tasked with fixing things for the wife today, so will help out as and when I can)

will also need to fix my 6850s as the pins are very weak now.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

ah well :(. Hopefully you guys will get diagrom tomorrow , could be a problem to use if the keyboard isn't working or rs232.. but TF said he can do updates to it... so possible we could just have a version which jumps right into ram test and loops automatically...

Going by your video it seems to have small pixel lines of corruption, so its like something is conflicting or getting corrupted in ram for some reason.

Really hoping I will get my board soon...

Found the cable now my loft looks like a bomb has hit it :( - not the best place to store all my old cables etc.

Problem now is I need to build a F-F 25 pin adaptor as the USB to Serial is 25 pin M and the STF is M.

Yes having the DiagROM is the next step. If RS232 is not working then we will have to try as you mention to get TF to do updates but the other alternative is BlankVector suggestion of a debug EmuTOS.

Yes it seems that way.

It must be quite frustrating seeing the progress and not having your hands on one. I guess you have to apply all the fixes once you get it.
