I use HCT on all of my 536s without issues, so I don't know why they don't seem to be working for you. Could it be a matter of a CF card adapter? Are you using a V.H2 version? Only the gerbers have been released. viewtopic.php?p=75889#p75889 So you can see where tracks go easy enough. Also check that Pin 19 is connected to GND and Pin 20 is connected to +5V. Easiest to measure from the PWR2 header below the regulator.

I've no plans to release the schematics. But why not try each IC in turn to see if its any one set of pads?
The thing should work in a mix and match mode.

I tried the same thing last night on mine and got no ide until I went back to the resistor networks also.
I got my latest tf536 from Amigastore.eu, where did yours come from?

I only use V.H2. Did you try changing the buffers one at a time.

My board is revision 2, it does not correspond to the footprint of the first photo, but correspond to the connections at the diagram of IC6...

Is your board 2 or 2b? Plain rev2 will not work with buffers but i've no idea how you got it if you did. There was only 10-20 of them made.
