1230 freezing on kickstart screen

I'm experiencing something strange. My own 1230 128 works fine, One I built a few weeks ago isn't. Freezes on the kickstart screen after about 15 seconds but will load and play a game or run amiga test kit all day long, Its not happy booting from ehide (Custom rom), Occasionally freezes when running Memcheck.
Running RC1, Reflashed FW, replaced CPU with my own, Tried stock 3.2 rom but still the same. Its a little puzzling

Its not outwith the realms of possibility that there is a soldering issue or even a PCB fault. JLC very occasionally mess up with a board.

Or it could be a duff CPLD, bad edge connector.... . i mean the list of things it could is endless here. unfortunately you'll need to figure it out yourself there is nothing that can do it for you.
