Yes, totally pointless. It does not emulate an FPU, simply removes the FPU managment code so even Femu crashes. Avoid.
It should be possible to update femu to support 060. Perhaps Thor could integrate It after it's adapted

Femu.040 works well enough, just use the regular 68060 libraries.

By the way, novacoder has kindly recompiled Zdoom for LC060 and even AmiQuake (but the latter runs like a slideshow, so it’s more of a ‘it-can-be-done’ type of thing.

Yeah If it was patched with the PocketQuake patches it would shift.

I acquired a few LC cpus and tried them with my TF360. Two of them run happily but the other two just cause graphical glitches and no actual graphics.

Did WhichAmiga report all the LC's being the same Rev etc?

I expect Mr Remark will be busy teaching his crew how to remove 2 horizontal lines: EC -> LC :)

No I mean I just get some crap on screen so I don't get that far :-) The CPUs look identical and very much legitimate, the ones that work are identified as rev 4. I had some fake chinese rev6s but they only gave me a black screen so this is something different so curious about this.

Return to “TF360”
