I cant emulate your bugs, everything is fine for me in rev6 and rev8 with mmulibs installed and only autovector turned off and mmu/030 turned on in whdload prefs.

Link me your image and I will check it.

Works for me on this rev 6A A500! No problem at all!

Again works fine for me! I didn't check or change the tooltype.

Don't have this one on my CF card! Will dig it out later and somehow get it on there.

Send me a PM to your card and I will try with that!

I sent you and Paul the links for the CF card.

The reset upon keypress is solved with the phase5 firmware (so it seems to be phase7 related) but WHDLoad behaviour is the same.

I solved the issues with FA18 and The F1 game by using my usual settings in S:/WHDLoad.prefs
Turn on:

MMU
NoAutoVec
Preload <- loads everything into ram, so no more disk access.

I doubt it was much to do with MMU but Preload and NoAutoVec solve pretty much everything.

OK, by changing the WHDLoad.prefs according to your instructions, I got both issues fixed. So as far as the A500 is concerned it looks like that phase 5 experimental firmware is the definitive one.

Or the difference is between the AGA CD32 and ECS A500? Or does it not work with those prefs and the other firmware?

No, the phase 7 had other issues. Like the ESM reboot. So the phase 5 works better on the A500. Whdload is probably the same on both.
