Just started my build. So far I've put on both CPLDs, the 3.3 V regulator, and the resistor networks (all 1K arrays).
The regulator, resistor arrays, and small CPLD were leftover parts from my TF530 build. I took a risk and am using an eBay used part for the larger CPLD.
With these things on I was able to identify and program the CPLDs. Now I am waiting for other parts to arrive from Digikey.

Re: Chue's TF534 Build
Aren't the resistor networks 2.2k for the TF534 and 1K on the TF530? Just know they are harder to swap once everything is on there.

Re: Chue's TF534 Build
I've put on some more components on the top of the board:
10uF caps
Shmitt buffers
Bus transceiver
Resistors R1 & R2 - outlined in yellow in the image. Are these in the correct place? The silk screen is hard to read.

Re: Chue's TF534 Build
It's mostly finished, just missing the SPI flash.
Final Specs:
68EC030 (RP40B) CPU
68882 (FN40A) FPU
40 mhz clock
4 MB of RAM
4 GB CF card
Here is some TF 534 eye candy:
