I think a good soldering station/hot air is a good investment for these kind of projects .

This morining I did a reflow on the S-RAM ,after that the Ram Issue are now gone , :D

I have a TS100 iron that I like very much. I think I even like it better than the new one still, but we’ll see.

Yeah, depending on the result I get with the test firmware I can see some reflowing in my future :)

Mbr test , will do actually the same as SYStest ,but with SYStest to get out you have to reboot your machine ,in that I like to use MBRtest for workbench.
I received a utility disk when I bought an a1200 expansion from Microbotics a long time a go ,but you can still find it here :

8 Bit Dreams got an adapter from me and has the TF534 running on the A600. A bit unstable, but still :)

Also, I’m not considering myself to be either stupid or really bad at soldering, so I think it’s a bit unfair how much problems I’ve had with building both the TF530 and the TF534 :D

So... With the test firmware I could boot AmigaTestKit and add the TF534 RAM with low priority.

Running the memory scan gives me errors. Looks like one of the chips isn’t good at all. Bad GND or VCC connection maybe? Or bad chip? IC8, right?

OMG. Seems to work now. I think it was either a bad ground connection or chip select or something. Reflowed the RAM chip and now it seems ok.

The IDE might be the next thing giving me problems, but I will try a couple more cards before I start complaining again :)

Reflowed the RAM CPLD, again, and now I was able to install OS 3.1.4 to a CF card. I will prep a ClassicWB card tomorrow and load it with some games and demos, but it feels like I'm soon ready to build another one. I need to master this :D
