Has anyone tried One ROM (two One ROMs) with their STe or any ST family computer yet?

This might allow people to upgrade / change TOS versions without having to buy a chip programmer or remove the chips to reprogram them.
Obviously we're going to need two of these for the ST(e) but it should be possible to buy/build two for less $10.

I haven't tried them but I feel I ought to!!!
They are very cheap and look like they could be super useful as it seems to be able to replace a lot of different ROM types.

800XL and 65XE both with Ultimate1MB,VBXL/XE & PokeyMax, SIDE3, SDrive Max, 2x 1010 cassette, 2x 1050 one with Happy mod, 3x 2600 Jr, 7800 and Lynx II
Approx 20 STs, including a 520 STM, 520 STFMs, 3x Mega ST, MSTE & 2x 32 Mhz boosted STEs
Plus the rest, totalling around 50 machines including a QL, 3x BBC Model B, Electron, Spectrums, ZX81 etc...

Great, glad I could introduce the forum to a potential new upgrade.
I posted this on the Atari forum first and I was disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm. Some people don't like microcontrollers it seems but there's at least one MCU in the ST already for the keyboard so I really don't understand that as a reason to snub this.

That's cool. But we had already the SideCartrigeTosEmulator for quite some time. Which is about the same except that is designed specifically for "emulating" whole TOS ROM with a single device, and not generic, individual ROM chips. I believe he actually has a generic ROM emulator as well, but not sure if the pinout is compatible with standard EPROMs.

That's true. It's expensive. But it is a different beast. It has dedicated flash to store multiple TOS images, and wifi to upload images directly online.
