Finally had some free time here with the whole turkey day weekend. I got my new C5B board up and running. Got the amp fixed, added all the needed components and first boot with a floppy disk demanded I load Ultima IV.
I wanted to try a VGA connector this time on the board and use the 3.5mm port for audio. External Floppy and cartridge port working just fine. I'm getting some new midi ports to solder on in the next few days.

DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

I'm still on the fence to build a board - hard to find working 1040 ST's here in New Zealand - I was thinking a Phoenix might be a better option for the money
I have a 3D printer if the STL's are available
thanks
Simon

I might have a short term solution anyway as I just won an auction locally for a good looking but non functional 1040 STF and monitorcoonsgm wrote: Sun Nov 30, 2025 12:38 pmSee here: https://www.printables.com/model/112784 ... hell/filesgreendaleobs wrote: Sun Nov 30, 2025 8:51 am
