DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

STFM case remake
Re: STFM case remake
I think I got the same case as @Cyprian posted for my Falcon. I have to say its quality is pretty good (by my amateur eye I would say it's somewhere near 80% of the quality of the original), it's amazing what one can achieve with good 3D printer and good material.
Re: STFM case remake
Wow impressive advancement with case remakes. Will there be anyone making them commercially or built to order? If not I take it I will need to learn 3d printing and buy some serious printer. I kind of like that one someone has built with embedded floppy and gotek the translucent one looks great too.
Re: STFM case remake
The case already has those features.me262 wrote: Wed Apr 17, 2024 3:18 am One think I can think of that would really make this project shine is modularity, swap backplates to put in an STFM, STE, or a Falcon. Change floppy drive styles from big button, small button, PC 1.44 or Gotek. Enhanced joystick port covers.
Re: STFM case remake
The case design isn't finished yet. The problem also is the huge shipping costs and risk of damage. My idea is to make the case modular and while it may look a bit different, it should be more "flatpack". Unfortunately that idea hasn't yet even been fully discussed yet. To many projects and not enough time as usual..Groppo91 wrote: Wed Apr 17, 2024 9:35 am Wow impressive advancement with case remakes. Will there be anyone making them commercially or built to order? I purchased this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204662424809 - it's sold out right now but you can try to contact him and ask.
Re: STFM case remake
Perhaps this has been asked before but how realistic would it be to use the final design for injection moulding?
I came across this page and they make it seem cost effective to use 3D printing to create an affordable mould (in contrast to creating a traditional metal one): https://formlabs.com/eu/blog/injection-molding-cost

Re: STFM case remake
I've been looking into 3D printing for an Amiga keyboard.
Unfortunately UK costs seem prohibited. But JLCPCB's 3D print side are very cost effective.
The price for SLA printing to give a nice surface finish is good, but it's one of those things where you really want to know what it looks like before you pay. The 3D model looks great!
I want a white case and their Resin 9000R is white, but I don't know if it will still need painting afterwards, which is extra time and money.

Re: STFM case remake
Three months left to 2026, any suggestion how to order STFM case or at least top case?
PS: I can do JLCPCB orders if STL is available
