Falcon FPU Overclock boards back in stock.

Use a dedicated crystal , typically 32MHz-50MHz to directly drive the Falcon FPU giving it a boost!
PCB comes part assembled. Header pins (supplied) and OSC (not supplied) need soldering.
Installed requires track cutting on your Falcon. So do not attempt this upgrade unless you know what you are doing!

I'm working on the next batch of Falcon NVRAM RTC modules.

Production has been delayed for a number of reasons. Mostly because of pins are incredibly expensive and it would of cost a small fortune to buy them alone. Finding alternative pins was a small nightmare but I got there in the end. But then unfortunately I had to redesign the PCB to fit them

This will likely be the last batch I will do of these modules because sales of them is only ever decreasing and there are only so many falcons out there which would need them anyway.

The last batch of the power supplies is currently being worked on. I know there are currently 14 in stock and I believe 39 left to assemble. The price will also be going up slightly when the new batch goes in stock.

But please note that this power supply will no longer be produced after the current stock is exhausted.

For one reason I really don't want to use the Texas regulators any more. There's just too much tolerance variations in them all the time. Plus with the problems of getting things assembled and increase of obtaining parts , shipping and time etc, I don't really see it viable in even attempting another batch.

I do want to produce a similar toroidal based power supply using a different regulator as I have previously mentioned in my blog. Though I am not sure when I will get time to work on this design. It will undoubtedly be double the cost of what the current power supplies are selling for, and I will likely only produce a small number of them as a one-off batch. This will likely be a couple of years down the road anyway.

The 4MB RAM upgrade is out of stock. I am getting some more made but will likely be a few weeks. I'm getting the pcbs made in China and having them assembled in the UK.

Stocks are low of the DFB1X, I'm waiting for more CPUs and fpus to come. I'll open up preorders soon.

The falcon video adapters are out of stock. I'm going to try and build a few up soon. Currently waiting for the pcbs to come.

Prices on stuff is going up unfortunately. Trumps tariffs on China isn't helping as most of my parts tend to be sourced from mouser in the USA. The costs in shipping and taxes sending stuff to China is a nightmare. To many fingers in the pie. So I'm ordering parts myself for my UK fab guy to build now. Overall the prices are not to bad but which ever I do, results in prices going up.
