Really simple design with a single chip. The schematic I worked from was missing a GND connection which I found when looking at the one I had opened.

Confirmed that these recreated Mastersound II fit the original case. Ignore my broken one. Was in a rush to get it open...

New PCB fits perfectly.

Okay, next cartridge I am looking to re-create is the Microdeal Stereo Playback cartridge. The main chip is a AD7528JN DAC:

The photos of the Stereo Playback cartridge above are of the original I purchased as a starting point.

Here is the schematic I have created from the original cart:

I have sent the prototype PCB for fabrication and now wait...

Quartet v1.5 from Microdeal makes use of this Playback cartridge for stereo output. :D

I believe I added support for this cart in ScummST and BasiliskII as well, but I didn't have the hardware to test so it was done blindly and may or may not work :)

Good to know and will give SummST a test on the weekend.

ScummST games work with the Microdeal Stereo Playback cartridge. Set the Sound driver as on the photo.

I wanted to test the new Raven CKBD adapter with my Mega ST so have extracted the Micro ATX Atari ST Eiffel schematic to a standalone schematic and made a custom PCB layout for testing.

Prototype PCBs arrived today.

Just waiting on the RJ12 connectors to get this fully built. Was not totally sure on the RJ12 pinout but hopefully its correct.

I got confused with Tx/Rx when I did my Eiffel pcb a few years ago. Or if I got the footprint wrong, it was flipped, I can't remember. But anyhow it was 50% chance I did it wrong so of course it was wrong. So I had to redo a new version.

I hope yours will work right away!
