Earliest ST motherboard?

Post by ijor »

At Atari-forum somebody mentioned an ANTIC article with a picture of what seems to be a very early ST motherboard. Furthermore, the custom chips are all engineering samples. I guess others have seen it, it's on the very popular ANTIC magazine after all. But I admit that at least I didn't remember such ST motherboard. I don't even remember seeing those sample chips at all!

Link to the ANTIC article at Archive.org:

I can capture the picture on the article and attach it directly to the post, if it seems more appropriate. Unfortunately it's not a high res pic anyway. I assume we don't have an ANTIC library here. Do we?

Interesting, we don't have a antic section but I uploaded the images below..

As the forum resizes images, I uploaded them as a zip file also. The left pages half the resolution of the right place so I had to double the size of it to match.

Just because a lot of people agree on something, doesn't make it a fact. ~exxos ~
People should find solutions to problems, not find problems with solutions.
