Oddly when I just used resin it came out fine, however I think the addition of the iron powder has clearly changed the viscosity leading to the bubble.

Injecting the material is something I'm seriously considering for the next run.

I've also just ordered a new seamless 20mm mould and I found some 20mm seamless black rubber balls on AliExpress that I thought I'd try too.

I wonder if something as simple as putting the mold on your mobile phone when it is on vibrate would be enough to get the air bubbles to the top or if you will need a more powerful vibrator (oo'er)

That's another thought I'd had too, can I use something to help vibrate out the bubbles, and I have a stack of old mobiles :)

Well, I thought this was it:

They are hard black seamless, so smooth, rubber balls, 20mm. They fit perfectly, trouble is, they jam up. I have tried cleaning them, but they just won't play nicely.

Dammit...

Probably too grippy.

Spray one with gloss paint? Or maybe satin actually.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

It is indeed too grippy, just considering my options.

I'll check the weight, I have an idea where it's supposed to be, but I have tried a Delrin ball and that was too light.
