Atari Falcon SCSI

It looks like my internal ide bus is non functional. Is the use of an external scsi drive a viable option? I found an external centronics case and a 4.5GB 3.5” scsi internal 50 pin drive. Anything preventing this set up from working?

why not use a BlueSCSI v2. There are versions with a DB25 connector and an external case.

Has anybody actually. used this on the Falcon. I really don’t want to be the first .
