Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Thanks, I had seen that one and other similar ones, I just feel the price is a bit steep, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Thanks. Similarly to the one @stephen_usher pointed out on eBay, the price is a bit high, and if that only includes delivery in Japan, it could get expensive to get it to the UK.

Am I just being too sensitive to price? It seems a lot really when you compare prices with similarly old ICs.

You would have thought that they would be more plentiful and hence cheaper, but obviously not. Maybe most of the XT class machines never had one fitted and hence few have gone into the reused circulation.

I would say it is a reasonable price for this quite rare FPU.

I think probably you're both right and if I want one I will have to swallow the cost. Better have a think about how much I really want one...
