2nd trace is done:

That one went a bit quicker, last one is going to be the hardest one I think, however I think if I can take a wire all the way down to the nearest via, which is quite close, then it should be OK.

Continuity all tested and solder mask currently being hardened, then all I have to do is re-install the missing component and I can test to see if it's all good. I hope...

Good luck. Before reassembly consider fitting an alternate firmware switcher (e.g. modchip) as they are very cheap and homebrew on the Switch is pretty cool.

I'll have a look once I've tested. I reckon reassembly will take about a week with all those screws!!!

Good news.

I just popped the PCB back into the housing for a quick test, and the touchscreen is working!!!

I haven't yet reinstalled the missing component, that's next, but it works!!!

That's all repairs completed, and I've done enough of an assembly to test all buttons and the sticks etc, and it's all going great

It seems I may have been a little too hasty in declaring it all good. All the buttons work, it charges, I get a picture on screen, but the screen has a weird staining on it, and now I have a 'working screen' I've noticed some hairline cracks in the digitiser panel that weren't really visible before. Ho hum.

That said, it is enough to confirm that the mainboard works fully, so I'm not too broken up are replacements are surprisingly cheap. I am now considering giving the other board a go and trying to rebuild the circuits around and including M92T36 - should be a giggle and if it doesn't work then I can either sell it and my other spare for parts and make some cash back.
