This is actually loaded from "disk", but it's a copy or the original promotional ROM Memotech gave to retailers and used at shows.
Ah ok fair enough. I’m quite looking forward to playing with the MFX when it arrives and getting to know this MTX after wanting one for 40 years
When cleaned up and under the right lighting the MTX looks stunningly beautiful with it's crisp brushed aluminium case. :-)
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

It would have to be more of a magenta for me if we’re going for shades of pink.

Now, I wonder how expensive a brushed, extruded aluminium case for an ST recreation might be... :lol:

$58 isn't half bad and given the time and cost of the materials you could probably not do it yourself for much less.
